Nigeria? Yes, most international delegates require
a visa. Delegates from most African countries are able to obtain a visa on
arrival. Please check the Nigerian embassy website in your country for
requirements.

How can I apply for a visa?

 You can apply for a visa online at the Nigerian
Immigration Service website or through the Nigerian embassy or consulate in
your country.

What documents do I need for the visa application?
  • A valid passport (minimum validity of 6 months)
  • Completed visa application form
  •  Invitation letter from the conference organizers
  •  Proof of accommodation (hotel booking or host address)
  •  Recent passport-sized photographs
  •  Evidence of sufficient funds (bank statement)

What is the weather like in Lagos in February?

Where should I stay?

We recommend booking accommodations close to the
venue. We have partnered with several hotels near the venue where special

Is accommodation included in my registration?

 No, accommodation is not included. Delegates are responsible for booking and paying for their own accommodation. The foreign delegate team can support with group bookings or other special accommodation requests.

How can I get to the conference venue?

From Murtala Muhammed International Airport (LOS): The venue is
approximately 36 km. Options include:

  • Airport shuttle services
  • Ride-hailing apps (Uber, Bolt)
  • Taxis
Will transportation be provided during the conference?

 Yes, shuttle buses will be available between select hotels and the venue. Details will be provided closer to the event.

What is the currency in Nigeria?

 The official currency is the Nigerian Naira (NGN).

Can I use my credit card?

 Credit and debit cards are widely accepted in major hotels and restaurants. However, it’s advisable to carry some cash for
smaller vendors or areas with limited card access.

Where can I exchange currency?

Currency exchange services are available at the airport, banks, and Bureau de Change outlets.

Are there any health requirements?
  • Yellow fever vaccination is mandatory. You must present a Yellow Card upon arrival.
  • Ensure you have travel health insurance.
